Whether they get into the garbage can out back or dig up that old shoe in the yard, Seresto collars for dogs can help keep them protected from fleas and ticks for 8 continuous months. The innovative Sustained Release Technology of Seresto collars provides effective flea and tick protection in an easy-to-apply, non-greasy collar.
Truly unique technology for your dog.
Seresto collars is a unique polymer matrix collar that offers a continuous supply of two active ingredients: imidacloprid and flumethrin for effective 8-month protection against fleas and ticks. That’s one convenient, non-greasy, odorless flea and tick collar instead of 8 monthly treatments.
The active ingredients are stored within the collar. They are released in low concentrations and are distributed over your dog’s hair and skin surface for 8 months. As active ingredients wear off over time, Seresto collars for dogs continuously replenishes the skin and coat with a new supply of active ingredients. Fleas and ticks are killed through contact with the active ingredients – no biting required.

USEFUL INFORMATION
One collar per animal to be fastened around the neck. Remove collar from bag directly before use. Unroll collar and make sure that there no remnants from the plastic connectors inside the collar.
- Insert end of the collar through the buckle. Adjust the collar around the animal’s neck without tightening it too tight or leaving it too loose.
- As a guide, it should be possible to only insert 2 fingers comfortably between the collar and the neck.
- Pull excess collar thru the loop(s). Collar length of greater that 1 inch (2cm) beyond the loop(s) should be cut off unless it is on a growing puppy, where some additional length may be needed for adjustment as the animal grows.
- After application of the collar, three reflector clips may be fixed permanently to the collar to increase the animal’s visibility in the dark. Take the clips out of the bag. The clips should be evenly distributed on the non-overlapping part of the collar. The clips are correctly applied when a clicking sound is heard. For safety reasons once the reflectors are fixed to the collar the clasp closes permanently and cannot be re-opened.
The collar should be worn continuously for the 8 month protection period. Check periodically and adjust fit if necessary, especially when puppies are rapidly growing. Rarely, mild application site reactions may occur, such as scratching, redmess and hairloss, which usually recover within 1-2 weeks without the need for collar removal. In some cases, temporary collar removal and bathing may be recommended until symptoms have disappeared. In very rare cases, application site reactions, such as dermatitis, inflammation, eczema or lesions may occur. In these instances, immediately. If your animal is on medicaiton, consult your veterinarian before using this or any other product.
This collar is designed with a release mechanism. In the unlikely event of a dog being trapped, the dog’s own strength is sufficient to widen the collar to allow for quick release. Replace the collar after 8 months for optimal tick and flea protection.

Best flea/rock collars on the market. No smell whatsoever. I buy them every year for my two mini Australian Shepherds and they do the trick for the whole year. They each weigh 20 pounds and I buy the small dog ones. We have ticks very bad here and we will occasionally find a dead one on the dogs or sometimes a live one that just got there – but never ones that have attached.

We have used Seresto collar for many years on our small (14 lb.) dog. We¡¯ve never seen a flea or tick on her even though we live out in the country and she spends much time running in the fields. I¡¯ve never seen any adverse reaction to the ingredients used in this product . I would like to say that the cost is a bit high but we bought it anyway because the vet recommended it, as did the groomer.

Have been using the Seresto flea & tick collar for 5 years. Haven’t seen a flea or tick on my dog in all that time. Previous to using the collar, I used the liquid application monthly. Had good results with that, however my dog would run & hide when he heard me opening the packaging. While applying it, the dog would wiggle & squirm, making it difficult to apply to the skin between his shoulders, every month. With this collar, there is none of that. Since the collar is good for up to 8 months, the cost is comparable to other flea & tick remedies in my opinion.

We live in a rural area and our home backs to woods with an abundance of wildlife. I treat my backyard each spring but fleas and ticks are a real problem. My dog has allergies, and flea bites are devastating for him. We had tried other brands and different products in the past that were only marginally effective, and never lasted as long as stated. Since using the Seresto collars those issues are gone and I have a much happier dog. This is an item that I reorder as needed and is the only collar I recommend to friends and family.

Ordered this about four days ago and NO FLEAS! I was picking fleas off of my little pup every day and now that the collar is on, NONE! Im so happy and I know my little pupper is too! We have four chickens, and live next to an empty field so fleas have been a major problem. I have a 16 year old papillon/chihuahua mix. He was sick from topicals so I’ve been skeptical to use anything with chemicals. He has a history of skin problems as well, but his fur is fluffy enough right now that the collar doesn’t rub too much on his skin. So far so good!

After a lot of research, I bought the Seresto collar. I don’t like using anything containing insecticides and chemicals, however, protecting my pets from ticks is uppermost in importance. I live in the country and ticks are a problem. This collar seemed to be the best choice as far as having insecticides that have been tested and proven safe on pets. I bathe my dog about 2X a month because she gets quite dirty on her walks. It’s also okay to bathe pets with this collar on–it still works. With the collar on, my dog is safe for six months and I don’t have to remember to treat her with an application of flea medicine every month.

I bought this collar for my 5 dogs from a recommendation of a friend who had good results using it on her dogs. I have an older 13yr old dog CoCo who has a severe flea allergy and nothing I tried helped…she was losing weight from all the energy she was using and hair from constantly biting herself. I tried trips to the vet, shampoos, other collars, flea combing twice a day and treated her bedding but nothing worked getting rid of the fleas. All my dogs were constantly itching and scratching but she by far was the worst. I decided to bite the bullet and try to give them some relief. The cost I thought at first was a lot but thought my dogs are worth it so I bought 5 collars. I put them on my dogs. I was watchful of any neck irritation that I had read about with some dogs but none of that happened. What did happen though is 2 days later I combed all the dogs and NO FLEAS! Also since then CoCo’s transformation has been REMARKABLE!! After I put on the collars I have not used any other flea products this is just the collar at work for the last 8 weeks and these will last for 8mo. I am VERY happy with my purchase and will be buying more.

I have a small long haired Havanese mix and had tried Frontline and Advantage with no success. Frontline did nothing which really surprised me as it has worked well on my cats in the past. Next I tried Advantage which helped some for a couple of weeks and then the fleas would come right back. My dog is also around my dad’s two labs which he does not flea treat and made it even harder to keep fleas off my dog. I even treated his dogs and mine at the same time with advantage but it only lasted a couple of weeks(I would still see a flea or two) and was expensive. I was nervous about the bad reviews featuring lethargic dogs, seizures and neck sores for these collars but desperate for some flea relief so I went ahead and ordered it. My dog his thin skin and non shedding hair without underfur but happily the collar has not bothered him at all! The best part is ALL the fleas were gone within 24 hours and have stayed gone for weeks! This is even with him being around non flea treated dogs daily. It’s amazing! I’ve been checking his neck often and it’s perfectly clear and fine too. I put the collar on as lose as possible so it lays over his long hair and is not rubbing against his skin. Also it is easy to remove for baths. I take it off as he needs baths once a week as we live in the country and he is mostly white and gets muddy. I forgot to put it back on for two days and the fleas still stayed gone. I’m so happy to have something that really works!
